Jeremy's Biography

Jeremy was born in Taunton, Somerset. His parents were both teachers and he has one brother who is a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy. He was educated at Taunton School, Trinity School New York City, Exeter University and the Inns of Court School of Law. He was called to the Bar in 1996 and since then has specialised in Criminal Law, both prosecution and defence, practising in the West Midlands area.

Before being selected as the Candidate in Rugby and Kenilworth, Jeremy was the youngest ever Chairman of Warwick and Leamington Conservative Association. He currently serves on the Constitutional Affairs Select Committee.

He is married to Yvonne, who works at the University of Warwick, and has recently become the proud father of a beautiful daughter called Stephanie. When not busy in Westminster or the constituency, Jeremy's interests include travel, especially to the USA, music, James Bond films and playing golf badly.
